.. Yeeeaaah, there's no social media. I genuinely tried, but social media just ain't for me. Only reason I ever signed up for it way back when was because my then-best friend wanted me to, and even then it just felt kinda useless because everyone I spoke to on there, I spoke to in real life anyway. Tumblr is all but dead, and I never got into Instagram because I just felt like Twitter did all the stuff I wanted that place to do, and then some. Of course Instagram is a behemoth now, but let's talk about Twitter..

Twitter used to be my favorite social media. That same friend from above introduced me to it, but even after I lost touch with them and most of my other homies, it was still a great place to follow my niche interests in real time. But then after years of harmony, some alt-right douchebag bought the place and now it's a cesspool of racism, bigotry, and propaganda. I tried to thug it out because I was there since 2009 and I had a lot of history there; I treated my Twitter like a micro-journal and I loved adding entries to it whenever cool things happened in my life, but I just couldn't do it, it just jacked up my mental too much. I just saw and read too many depressing things on there from people that just eroded my faith in humanity, much less the platform. I kept my account up just in case anyone wanted to check it out and get a brief overview of what I'm all about, but for the most part I'm more or less done with that platform.

So what about Tweezen? Brykner, how are you gonna get the word out about the comic if you don't advertise on social media? Well, I tried that too, but I dunno.. I just felt like I was yelling into the void whenever I posted an update on a dead social media that only had me as a follower. I just figured hey, fuck it, I'm just gonna focus on making the comic for now, worry about advertising later.

So yeah, why is this page here? To let you know there is no social media. If one ever shows up in the future, this page'll be updated. In the meantime, there is no official social media for the Tweezen webcomic — accept no substitutes. ✊🏾
